I was very honoured to design and pattern-make a mens capsule collection as part of the dreamers collection at J. Andreatta. It was looking at subverting the classic dinner suit with beautiful silk fabrics, offering something a bit softer, more delicate than the classic mens’ bridal look. Ross did the designs and patternmaking for these two looks, working on toiles in fittings until the perfect look was achieved.
It consists of an unstructured silk suit with accented satin lapel, pockets, buttons etc; silk organza shirt with floral gazar bib, cuffs, and buttons; silk chiffon wrap shirt in pink rose print.

I have hand-sewn the beaded embellishment on all of these dresses for clients through my time at J. Andreatta. It’s a true privilege to work on such beautiful pieces, and the craft that goes into every one is incredible. For more than two years I’ve been developing these hand-sewing skills, working on lace placements, and focussing on the handcraft of fashion.
Some pieces take as little as two days, some more than two weeks, each requiring dedication, patience, and a sharp eye for detail. These involve hand-sewing beading, embroidery, lace, draping, motifs onto blank dresses.
